Viking Travel Service was purchased by Daryl & Helen Nielsen in 1971 from local post master Arne Madsen. Arne was Knighted by the Danish Government so that he could stamp Danish Passports for Danes traveling to and from Denmark. Viking Travel has common ownership in Best Western King Frederik Inn located in Solvang and Best Western Pea Soup Andersen's Inn in Buellton, Ca. Viking Travel is able to offer discounted packages to Santa Ynez Valley. We also belong to Westa Travel Agency Consortium which allows us to offer discounted cruise space and specials on tours. Our Agents Dan, Linda and Lucy all have over 20 years in the travel Industry.
